Storage pests
Storage pests that attack dried beans in Africa include: bean bruchids, dry bean weevil (acanthoscelides obtectus) and the Mexican bean weevil (zabrotes subfasciatus). They are small beetles (3-5mm) grey/brown to reddish-brown in colour.
