Recommended spacing for planting maize in high areas is 75 x 25 cm for 1 plant per hole and of 75cm x 30cm for two plants per hole. In low areas, a spacing of 90cm x 30 cm for 1 plant per hole and 90cm x 50 cm for 2 plants per hole.
